My interviewee
I chose my Interview to be about my mom who was born in Mexico City. She has a radiating smile that lights up your world. Our interview is about my moms memories about dangerous earthquakes back in Mexico City in 1985. This interview is about her feelings about these natural disasters and all of the things it caused for everyone in the city.
Pt.2 She has witnessed events that are life threatening to her city, and that could change everything in an instant. She talks about the terrifying moments that she has witnessed and all the damage these natural disasters has caused everyone to panic.
Story: My mom told me many stories about the natural events and all the disasters that happened back in Mexico City in 1985. These stories were passed down from her friends and herself. These stories really capture Mexico's worst earthquake that was more than 9 seconds.

intro
This project was meant to learn history trough older people ( adults ), this project was meant to teach us about any important parts about history that we did not know about. We did it to learn about history through someone else's perspective. I decided to interview my mom because she had always mentioned that their were a lot of things happening in Mexico and their were terrible natural disasters that happened to the city.
Pre interview
I knew that I had to ask very important questions that meant something to my interviewee. I had learned a lot about the practice interviews we did in class and I feel like I really used those to my advantage. I took a lot from it and used it for my own experience. The backround research helped ke understand more about the history that my mom talked to me about and helped me really understand this cause more. I enjoyed doing the examples of good and bad interviews, those really helped me shape my interview into a better piece that I could share.
INterview itself
The interview its self was somewhat interesting. I was not really into interviewing someone because I get bored easily but turns out that I learned a lot of interesting things about things that happened in Mexico City before I was even born. I interviewed my interviewee at my house and recorded it with my I phone. At first it was somewhat weird but then I felt at ease when I started to get responses for the questions I came up with, I felt very natural at the end because I got practice before asking my questions and then I felt confident about my interview.

Final reflection
I chose to interview the person I interviewed because I felt like she had a lot to say about the events that had happened to her city and all of the scary things that happened before I was born. I learned many things that I never even knew before, I was really shocked to hear that their was so much going on back then and that their were some serious life threatening events that caused a lot of destruction. I think we were both a little bit shy to do the interview but at the end it was all fine and we ended up talking a lot about the questions I asked. I wanted to also interview someone random or an older person because that's where the best information comes from and I felt that I would really have a good time talking to someone that I never knew before.
