Math 2 description
The reason behind this Math 2 page is to describe the process of my year and growth in math and all of the struggles and positive moments I had in math class these past semesters. Math as a 10th for me feels like an impossible thing to do and understand but it also depends on the kind of student and learner that you are. Math this year for me was complicated to learn because their are many steps to one problem and you have to get really thinking on your feet and really grasp onto the subject. My learning in the classroom was complicated at first because I would always struggle to understand things and not pay attention. Through out the year I started to speak up more and ask many questions regarding my struggles. I feel like math would always be one huge roller coaster ride with many downhills because I feel like I had to really push my self to not give up in class and any work that I did not understand. Many real world connections are that you are going to have to work hard as a group with your peers.

For probability we had to really make sure that we measure by ratio. I learned that these can be grouped and can be put in different various groupings.
For quadratics we had to use many equations to graph and use many parabolas. I learned to do many different equations that were supposed to be graphed and used as an equation.
Similarity was just basically about shapes and making them congruent and different sizes. I learned to really make shapes congruent to each other and make sure that I justify the answers.
REFLECTION
This year in math my biggest strengths were that I was really brave to speak up by the end of the semester and I felt like I really pushed my self to my full limit to speak up and answer more questions. I really felt like I tried my best to push my self in tests and make sure that I fully understand what I'm doing in class. I would always revise my work by asking questions and asking my peers if they were correct. I feel like I can have a better potential in math to speak up and make sure that I always have the courage to speak up. I have grown to speak up more and always stay on task and always speak up with my group members. One of my favorite moments was when we all went outside for the measuring. One of my least favorite moments were when we had to do take the quadratics test because I had the worst time re taking the test and I struggled a lot.
