At this moment i am essay:
The at this moment I am essay was the very first essay we wrote about what we are doing in the moment and what we are feeling and experiencing at the moment. The essay had to include so much detail and had to be written from your own experience. You have to have written it in MLA format and had to have a lot of creativity in order to create a story that branched out from one idea. We had an example from Miss.Britt and had to do a whole packet that was worth points and had to be finished in order to brain storm and know what we want to write for our final essay.

Refecltion: This essay was some what complicated due to the fact that we had to have a lot of detail and creativity. Although I absolutely loved to write about my passion of being a dancer and what I was doing at the moment. When I initially wrote this essay, I was sitting down in dance thinking about what I was doing at the moment, I got inspired by watching the girls take there ballet class and started to writ that I was on the floor in a strattle writing this. Then all the creativity and imagination came to me and I had thought that with one idea I could branch it out and bring lots and lots of ideas to my piece. Lastly through out the process I learned that you can not over think your ideas because they will all get crammed in your head and you just need to go with the flow and make your writing as creative as possible.

Reflection: This case study was very enjoyable and out going because I actually felt like an interviewer and I got to know a lot about the person I was interviewing and knew things that I never knew about her. I got to feel the way that famous people feel when they get asked a lot of questions and it was a very fun process. The part that was most enjoyable was the writing part because I got to write everything that she said to me and all the different emotions and hand gestures she has whenever she was replying to my questions. This case study seemed easy for me but I had to re write my paper due to lack of detail. Although, this essay was so interesting and you really get to find out who that person truly is in the inside and it was an unbelievable experience for me.

This poem could have been on anything from our weekly writing packet or we can just come up with a poem from scratch.
Elegy Poem
Elegy poem Draft
Reflection: This poem was somewhat easy to write but then I had a lot of feelings and emotions going on that when I read my poem out loud I did not have emotion because I was not feeling that way anymore and that affects your poem because if you don't feel the emotion or thought anymore on your poem then it will come out wrong. I learned that in your poem you should write anything that comes to mind because in poetry their is no right or wrong and every single piece of writing is an art piece and you should always be proud of trying. This poem was very fun because I felt like a poet and having people engaged in what I was saying even though it was kind of short. This is going to be a memory for me because I enjoy writing poetry and expressing my feelings toward something.

vignettes:
We are reading the book ' The House On Mango Street' and every single paragraph known as the vignettes are not as long because the author is asking for the reader to analyse them and go very deep into them and find out the meaning and hidden messages. For the two parts of the book we got a writing packet and for each vignette we had to write about something related to it for 5 minutes straight and never pick up out pencil for those 5 minutes. We can go as creative and detailed as we wanted to but had to be careful not to create a story.

inspiring song research paper
The inspiring research paper really inspired me to really go in depth in songs and really find out the meanings. I really liked how we printed out the lyrics to really find out the meaning behind the song. In this essay we had to find ways that this song is talking to society and the ways it affects us. Some of these songs that we researched talked about drugs or suicide. This essay really wanted for you to really go in depth about the meaning of this song and really go into the meaning and message this song is trying to give you. Lastly you had to write a claim that this song will change some people and the way they think towards society.
Inspiring Research Song Paper
Reflection: This essay was some what different because I had never really did a research paper on a song. I did not like that we had to make a claim about this essay because it was somewhat different and we had to really go into detail about this essay. I did not like how we got graded harshly on this essay because It really discouraged me to not keep going. Although I had to really research all these different articles that did not make sense, I still tried to get info on depression and drugs. One last thing I did not like was that we had to research papers on the library website and that gave us random stuff that did not have anything to do with what I was trying to research with.
